TRAFFIC ACCIDENT RECONSTRUCTIONIST

 

Steve K. Williams is a Certified Traffic Accident Reconstructionist by the State of California. Mr. Williams is a 20-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He has worked primarily as a specialized Commercial Vehicle Enforcement deputy and Traffic Accident Reconstructionist.

Mr. Williams has completed over 680 hours of specialized training in traffic collision investigation and reconstruction, including courses in commercial vehicle accident investigation and post collision vehicle inspection. Mr. Williams has also completed training courses in commercial vehicle inspection and hazardous materials enforcement.

Mr. Williams is currently an instructor for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Advanced Officer Training Unit. Mr. Williams teaches a 40-hour basic traffic collision investigation course at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Academy, a 16-hour P.O.S.T. approved “Specialized Operations of Four Wheel Drive Vehicle” course and a P.O.S.T. approved 40-hour “Hazardous Materials Transportation Enforcement” course.

Mr. Williams is a court recognized expert in all of the various elements of traffic accident investigation and reconstruction. He has given testimony in trials for both criminal and civil cases, and he is thoroughly familiar with court procedures and decorum.
